Chrome OS 72 was released to the district on on Tuesday, April 23rd. There are a couple of important fixes/changes with this release.
A new F5 Access VPN app (v.1.0.5) has been released on the Chrome Webstore which is designed to resolve the connectivity issues with remote access on Chrome OS devices. However, the new F5 version requires Chrome OS 72+.

Personal Devices: Please update personal ChromeOS devices to version 72 or above. If the client extension is not installed, you can add F5 Access v.1.0.5 from the Chrome Webstore.
Chrome 71 is rolling out to the district beginning 4/1/19. This version is not a big leap from Chrome 70, but includes bug fixes and some fairly insignificant UI updates. As always, Chromebooks will begin grabbing updates automatically, but please be sure to mind your GopherBuddy to ensure that you don't fall behind on your updates. If and when you see this friendly fellow, be sure to head into settings and perform a manual update.
